Jhulelal Premier League commences with 3 matches on the first day
Annual Sindhi Community cricket tournament ‘Jhulelal Premier League’ was inaugurated today at MB College ‘A’ Ground. Three matches were also played on the first day of the tournament organized by Shri Hirdaram Cricket Club.

Tournament started with an inauguration ceremony in the presence of Pratap Rai Chugh of Julelal Seva Samiti, Prabhudas Pahuja and Govingram Kalra of Pujya Jacobabad Sindhi Panchayat, Jaikumar Puruswami, Vicky Rajpal and Hitesh Sajanani of Pratap Nagar Sindhi Panchayat and Khanchand Mangwani, Surya Prakash Wadhwani and Prakash Fulani of Pratapnagar Seva Samiti. Other dignified community members from all Sindhi Panchayats, Clubs and sindhi community were also present on the occasion.
Thereafter, first match was played between Bratt Club and Shri Hirdaram Cricket Club in which Bratt Club batted first and gave a target of 128 runs. Shri Hirdaram Club could not achieve the target and lost the match. Ritesh Wadhwani and Mohit Wadhwani from the losing side took 3 wickets each while Bharat Chhabra from Bratt Club was declared Man of The Match for scoring 30 runs and taking 3 wickets.
In the second match, Team Bhopulpura defeated Team Jawahar Nagar by 9 runs. Sunil Hiranandani scored 46 runs and took 3 wickets and was declared Man of the Match for his performance.
Third match was played between Jhulelal Club and Surrey Club. In this match Jhulelal Club gave a target of 128 runs and won by a large margin. Ashish Pahuja was declared Man of the Match for scoring 60 runs and taking 3 wickets.
