JPL-2013 concludes with SHCC’s substantial win
One and a half month long weekend Sindhi community cricket tournament, Jhulelal Premier League (JPL-2013), concluded today with the final match between Team Bhopalpura and St. Hirdaram Cricket Club (SHCC), Pratap Nagar played at MB College 'A' ground.
One and a half month long weekend Sindhi community cricket tournament, Jhulelal Premier League (JPL-2013), concluded today with the final match between Team Bhopalpura and St. Hirdaram Cricket Club (SHCC), Pratap Nagar played at MB College ‘A’ ground.
In the match, Team Bhopalpura batted first but could not stand against the strong bowling attack of SHCC and lost all the wickets at a score of 86 runs. In return, Mohit Kamra from SHCC displayed a piece of great batting and took his team to register a comprehensive win by 7 wickets. Kamra was awarded the Man of the Match trophy for his performance.
After the match, tournament’s concluding ceremony and award function was organized.
In the ceremony, Pratap Rai Chug, President of Shree Jhulelal Seva Samiti; Harish Rajani, President of Sindhi Central Yuva Seva Samiti; Khanchand Mangwani, President of Shri Pratap Nagar Seva samiti; and Jai Kumar Purswani, President of Pujya Pratap Nagar Panchayat; Roop Kumar Khurana, UIT Chairman; Prabhudas Pahuja, Senior Social Worker; and Govindram Kalra, President of Pujya Jacobabad Panchayat were present.
Chief Guests honored the winners of JPL-2013 with a winning trophy. For their performances, Mohit Kamra was given the Best Batsman Award, Sanjay Kavarani was awarded with Best Blower Award and Mohit Wadhwani was given Man-of-the-Series Award. And a special award was given to 14 year old Gagan Nebhnani for his promising game.
Tournament Organizer and Man of the Series, Mohit Wadhwani gave credit to the blessings of St. Hirdaram for the successful competition of this tournament.
