Division level U-19 Cricket tournament for all the Kendra Vidhyalaya schools falling under the Jaipur division got underway at Pratapnagar based K.V No.1 school. Vivek Bhan Singh, Chief Selector of the Ranji cricket team was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by Principal Govind Singh Mehta.  Organising secretary Dr. Sheikh Shariq Ahmed mentioned that 21 schools in the Jaipur region will be participating in the event. The matches will be held in 4 different grounds in Udaipur.

The selected members from the four day tournament will represent the Jaipur Division team in the All India competition in Bhubhaneshwar from Oct 10.
