25^th All India Kesari Dangal organized by Laxmansingh Pehalwan Smriti Samiti started today at Bhandari Darshak Mandap (Gandhi Ground). Around 300 wrestlers from all over the country participated in this three day wrestling tournament.

According to Arjun Rajora, organizing secretary informed that among the participant wrestlers, 20 female wrestlers are also taking part, 5 female wrestlers are from Udaipur.

Inauguration of the wrestling was done by Cabinet Minister Girija Vyas and State Minister Gulabchand Kataria. President of Rajasthan Kushti Sangh R.K Dhabhai was also present on the occasion.

Rajora informed that the tournament is divided into 7 weight categories starting below 45kg and above 70kg. Each category has been named viz. Akhil Bhartiya Kesari (70 above), Mewar Malwa Kesari (above 70 kg), Rajasthan Madhya Pradesh Kumar (60kg above), Mewar Malwa Kumar (65 kg above), Mewar Malwa Kishore (55 kg above), Mewar Malwa Basant (45 kg) and For Females – Sitava –A Mewar Malwa.

Many international and national wrestling champions are participating in this prestigious traditional wrestling tournament.

A team of 6 referees Kailash Paliwal (Udaipur), Ved Prakash Yadav (Udaipur), Shivlal Yadav (Jaipur), Ved Prakash (Indore), Ram Niwas (Bhilwara) and Harish Rajora will judge the matches.
