Khelo India Beach Volleyball: Strong Turnout on Day Two
Finals of Men's and Women's beach volleyball scheduled for December 1 in the afternoon
Udaipur, Dec 1, 2025 - On the second day of the Khelo India University Games 2025 beach volleyball event, the games began at 8:00 am on the premises of Mahakaleshwar Temple, near Rani Road Ganga Ghat. A large number of sports enthusiasts gathered to watch the matches.
Several guests were present to encourage the players including Devesh Yadav (Director, Sports Authority of India), Ramanand Choudhary (Secretary General, Volleyball Federation of India), Jatin Gandhi (Assistant Commissioner, Devasthan Department), Kishore Kumar (Deputy COO, Vedanta Group, Hindustan Zinc), Sudhir Verma (Director, Agriculture Department), Dr Vikas Chachani, Dr Kalp Verma (Assistant Director, Agriculture Department), Trilok Paliwal, Khaya Jain, Jagat Nagda, BJP leader Ashok Garbada, and former BJP Councillor and council coach.
District Sports Officer Dr Mahesh Paliwal shared the result of the November 30 matches:
Women’s Category
- Group A: VEL defeated PAR 2–1
- Group B: LNI defeated AW University 2–1
Men’s Category
- Group B: SRM defeated UOM 2–0
- Sub-Group B: Goa defeated KAR 2–0
Semi-finals – Men
- Goa defeated KPM 2–1
- SRM defeated UOC 2–0
Semi-finals – Women
- VEL defeated L.N.I. 2–0
- KPM defeated S.R.M. 2–1
December 1 Schedule
- Women’s hardline match: 8:00-9:00 am
- Men’s hardline match: 9:00-10:00 am
- Women’s final: 2:00-3:00 pm
- Men’s final: 3:00-4:00 pm
Kayaking and canoeing events will soon begin and all preparations are on in full swing at the Fateh Sagar boulevard.
