Khelo India University Games: Punjab Governor to Inaugurate Beach Volleyball
Volleyball Federation of India’s Secretary General reviews preparations for beach volleyball competition in Udaipur
Udaipur, Nov 29, 2025 - Ramanand Choudhary, Secretary General of the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI), arrived in Udaipur on Friday (November 28) for the beach volleyball competition to be held in Udaipur as part of the Khelo India University Games 2025.
District Sports Officer Dr Mahesh Paliwal shared that the Secretary General inspected the venue and congratulated the entire team, including the district administration, for the excellent preparations. He held a meeting of all the judges, managers and players and provided necessary guidelines.
International judges Krishnam Raju, Rahul and Gopinath will oversee the games.
The competition, scheduled to start at 8:00 am on Saturday (November 29), will begin on the sand courts prepared at the Mahakaleshwar Temple grounds. Two matches each in the Men's and Women's category will be played.
Dr Paliwal said the competition will formally be inaugurated at the venue by Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria at 4:00 pm.
