At the 2^nd Late Freedom Fighter Shailesh Chadhar Memorial International Open FIDE Rating Chess Championship held at Guwahati, Lakecity’s player Rajendra Teli defeated FIDE master Mohammad Fahad Rehman after the fourth round and moved ahead in the competition.

Chess in Lakecity’s president Rajeev Bhardwaj informed that the competition will be organized from 14^th to 18^th August in which the winning amount is Rs. 1.5 Lac.

Rajendra Teli has so far defeated Praneet Malhotra, Vikramjeet Dhar, Nitish Das and Bangladesh’s FIDE Master Mohammad Fahad Rehman.
