Lakshya Raj Singh wins Second Term as UDCA President
Lakshya Raj Singh Mewar was elected as the President of UDCA by winning the election by a margin of 14 votes. A total of 38 voters casted their mandate in the UDCA election organized at Rajputana Resort today morning.

Interestingly, the elections for the core committee of UDCA were conducted after 35 years as the core committee in the interim was being chosen unopposed.
The winners, as declared, for all the 17 post are: Maheepal Singh (Deputy President), Manoj Choudhary (Vice President-1), Jitendra Rathod (Vice President-2), Virendra Rathod (Vice President-3), Vivek Bhann Singh Ranawat (Secretary), Rakesh Khokhawat (Joint Secretary-1), Mohammad Shahid (Joint Secretary-2), Manoj Bhatnagar (Public Relation Officer) and Mahesh Sharma (Treasurer).
7 others were elected on the post of Executive Members.
As per Election Officer Shobhagya Singh Rajawat, all 38 members of the association had their votes registered. The electoral body included Secretaries of various cricket clubs operating under the affiliation of UDCA.
Post the results, the losing contender for the post of President, Sushil Jain raised questions about the working and performance of the past committee. He alleged that the committee in the past session had not come out with the accounts of the association. He also mentioned that the matches of Sukhadia League, which is amongst the signature leagues, are still pending from the last season.
Meanwhile, a group of youth playing for various teams protested against the elections. They allege that the cricket association is exploiting them mentally and economically. The protestors chanted slogans against the association and distributed a letter to media highlighting several issues against UDCA.
