Last round of league matches were played today in the ongoing Annual Sindhi Community Cricket Tournament ‘Jhulelal Premier League’ at MB College ‘A’ ground.

Last round of league matches were played today in the ongoing Annual Sindhi Community Cricket Tournament ‘Jhulelal Premier League’ at MB College ‘A’ ground.

The first match was played between Team Bhopalpura and St Hirdaram Cricket Club (SHCC) in which SHCC achieved a target of 110 runs set by Team Bhopalpura and won the match by 7 wickets. Harsh Ahuja from Bhopalpura scored the highest 23 runs from the losing side while Mohit Kamra, who was declared Man of the Match, scored a half century (54) for SHCC.

In the second match, Surrey Club defeated Bratt Club by 12 runs. Playing first, Surrey Club gave a target of 122 runs with the contribution of 25 runs by Jitesh Thakur and 18 runs by Deepak. In response, Bratt Club could only make 110 runs. Deepak also took 3 wickets was declared the Man of the Match.

In the most interesting match of the day between Jhulelal Club and Team Jawahar Nagar, Jhulelal Club, while chasing the target of 116 runs, required 6 runs in the last over with two wickets remaining, but Team Jawahar Nagar did not let them win. From Jawahar Nagar, Satish Wadhwani and Manoj Wadhwani contributed 28 and 52 runs respectively. Satish also took 4 wickets and for his amazing performance, he was declared Man of the Match.

With the end of League Matches today, 4 teams qualified for Semi Finals: Team Bhopalpura, SHCC, Jawahar Nagar and Bratt Club. Next Sunday, Semi Finals will be played between Team Bhopalpura Vs Team Jawahar Nagar and St Hirdaram Cricket Club Vs Bratt Club.
