Lakecity Udaipur will have 2 lawn-tennis courts in near future in Khelgaon. These courts will be matching all international standards. In the 5^th general assembly meeting of Maharan Pratap Khelgaon Society presided by Collector of Udaipur, budget was approved for financial year 2018-19. District Sports Officer Lalit Singh Jhala informed that 2 lawn-tennis courts of international standards will be constructed in Khelgaon. RSMM has contributed 50 lakhs in this meeting and this amount will be used for the lawn-tennis courts.

As of now, there are only 2 courts in Khelgaon which are not enough to accommodate the growing number of players. With the upcoming lawn-tennis courts it will become easier for the players to practice and hone their skills. Collector Mallick also gave directions for creating synthetic athletic tracks in Khelgaon. He said that ongoing construction of track in Jodhpur Goshala stadium can be referred for this purpose. He also said that separate facility rooms must be made for males and females behind the swimming pool area.

DSO Jhala also said that rules and regulations will be finalised for renting out space of sports grounds. Grounds of Khelgaon will be given only for the purpose of organising sports events. 5000 rupees will be taken as deposit for organisations taking sports grounds on rent. Amount from this deposit will be adjusted after analysing cleanliness and maintenance of the space as per situations. Lawn-tennis, squash and skating areas will be rented on 2000 rupees/day, basketball ground and judo-boxing court at 1000 rupees/day and volleyball court at 500 rupees/day. Municipal Corporation has been issued directives to appoint 9 security guards recommending 3 guards in each shift for Khelgaon.
