Lawyer’s Cricket Tournament to start from 22 March
Bar Association, Udaipur is organizing ‘Miraj Cup’ All Rajasthan Lawyers Cricket Tournament, in association with Miraj Group which started today with Trophy Unveiling Ceremony at Oriental Palace Resort. The first league match of the tournament will be played on 22nd March while the final will be played at Miraj Stadium, Rabcha, Nathdwara on 25th March.

The first league match of the tournament will be played on 22nd March while the final will be played at Miraj Stadium, Rabcha, Nathdwara on 25th March.
In presence of esteemed guests a formal trophy unveiling and cap ceremony for the four day tournament was organised on 21st March.
The league matches of the tournament will be played at Field Club, Maharana Bhopal –Ground A, Maharana Bhopal – Ground B and Bhopal Nobles College Ground.
According to the information, about 16 teams are participating in this state level tournament, in which more than 250 advocates will be coming from Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Bikaner, Rajsamand and other districts of Rajasthan.
League matches will be played on Knockout basis and each match will be of 20 overs. The first league match will mark the formal inauguration of the Cup on 22nd March2012. Total sixteen matches will be played in the first two days of the event to get the eight best teams.
These eight teams will enter the semi finals to be played on 24th March. The winners of the semi finals will make their way to the finals of the tournament which be held at Miraj Stadium on 25th March.
Mahendra Nagda, General Secretary, Bar Association Udaipur said, “Each team will be given different dress of different color and the matches will be played on International Standards.”
Today’s Ceremony was held in presence of Madan Paliwal, Chairman, Miraj Group of Companies, Gulab Chand Kataria, MLA, Udaipur, Inder Raj Singh Soni, Chairman Bar Council of Rajasthan and other eminent personalities of the town.
