Udaipur based professional bodybuilder Mahesh Waghmare has obtained the title of Mr. Rajasthan at the State level Bodybuilding championship held in Bundi on 29 January. Mahesh was given a Gold medal and a cash prize with a memento by the Chief guest, Bhawani Singh Rajawat.

Interestingly, this is the 5th consecutive Gold medal for Mahesh in several State level competitions held during the past years.

The State Level Mr. Rajasthan Body Building Competition was organized by Bundi Bodybuilding Association, where 110 participants took part in the competition that was further divided into 6 different categories with three rounds for each category.

Udaipur team was led by Madan Soni, president of Udaipur Bodybuilding Association and Ramchandra Sharma secretary of the association.

Sajid Hussain from Udaipur grabbed the title of “Best Improvement” under the junior category and another body builder from Udaipur made it to the bronze medal under senior category.

While talking to UT, Mahesh briefed on his preparation to participate in National Level Bodybuilding Championship, which is scheduled in March 2012 in Pune.
