When it comes to Independence Day, the hearts overflow with patriotism.
Various marathons were organised by Mewari Runners where the runners went upto SriNathdwara.
75th Independence Day was celebrated with full zeal and vigour. The hearts were brimming with patriotism. As Udaipur city celebrated another year of Independence Day amid the pandemic, the sports and health enthusiast teams took to marathon to express their love for the country.
Ultra-marathon (70kms) and full-marathon (42kms) were organised. The 42 km full-marathon began at 3 a.m. from Udaipur and the 70 km ultra-marathon began at 12:15 a.m. These 2 marathons concluded at Lal Bagh in Sri Nathdwara at 8:30 a.m.
The runners were welcomed and felicitated in Nathdwara by Umesh Soni. The runners who participated in the marathon were Rahul Ranka, Pradeep Soni and Banshidhar (for 70 kms), Govind (65kms), Karan Pratap Singh Rao, Dilip Soni, Shakti Singh Dulawat, Mukesh Kumawat, Dr Anil Jain, Bhuvaneshwar (42 kms).
The runners were assisted by Pradhyuman Singh, Lalit Singh Solanki, Bhawani Singh and Vikram.
