Ashok Menaria - Udaipur's Cricketing sensation and Vice Captain of India-A team was honored by the Udaipur District Cricket Association for his selection to the New Zealand tour as Vice Captain.

 

Ashok Menaria – Udaipur’s Cricketing sensation and Vice Captain of India-A team was honored by the Udaipur District Cricket Association for his selection to the New Zealand tour as Vice Captain.

In a get-together held at Hotel Shikarbadi today, Menaria along with his coach Manoj Choudhary and other Ranji players joined the gala hosted under the leadership of Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, President of the association.

Remembering the early days of cricket training, Ashok Menaria, a left hand batsman told media that he will always remain thankful to the support he received from Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar during the initial days of his cricketing career.

“I often faced problems of injuries but I was never left alone or unattended; Maharaj Kunwar Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and the Udaipur District Cricket Association always stood by me encouraging and boosting my confidence”, said Menaria.

Ranji players Dishant, Shamsher Singh, Mohammad Shafi and Kishan Choudhary also joined the party to congratulate Ashok Menaria.

Lal Singh Jhala, District Congress President (Rural), Manoj Bhatnagar, Joint Secretary, UDCAJ Vivek Bhan Singh and Jitendra Singh were also present at the function.
