The formal inaugural ceremony of the State Level Miraj Cup T-20 Cricket Tournament was held on morning of 22^nd March at 9 am in presence of the Chief Guest Govind Mathur, Justice, Rajasthan High Court and Inder Raj Seni, Chairman, BAR Association, Udaipur.

The occasion was presided over by Bharat Kumar, President of Association. The tournament is organized under the banner of BAR Association.

In today’s event all the judicial officials, more than 500 members of Bar Association and around 250 players from the 16 participating teams from all over Rajasthan were present in their team outfits.

Justice of Rajasthan High Court, Govind Mathur said, “The four days T-20 Cricket Tournament is a platform for all the lawyers to create a healthy relationship among themselves and I hope that all the players will play with team spirit.”

At the end of the program, vote of thanks was proposed by Secretary General, Mahendra Kumar Nagda.

The inaugural match was won by Udaipur Blue team by chasing the score of 68 runs without losing any wicket against Bharatpur team.

The opening batsman of the wining team, Gurav Choudhary scored 51 runs.

The second match was played between Udaipur Red team and Nagur team and the match was won by Udaipur red team by 130 runs.

In the matches played at M.B. ‘B’ ground Bhilwara won against Kota and Hanumangarh won against Banswara.

At B.N. College ground, the matches were played between Sri Ganga Nagar and Jodhpur ‘A’ in which Sri Ganga Nagar remained victorious while Rajsamand won against Jodhpur ‘B’.

Bikaner remained winner in the match with Jhunjhunu and Jhalor won against Jaipur at M.B. ‘A’ ground.

Today 8 teams entered into Quarter-Finals. The Quarter-Final matches will be played tomorrow at Field Club and M.B. ‘A’ grounds respectively between Udaipur Blue and Bhilwara; Udaipur Red and Jodhpur; Bikaner and Sri Ganga Nagar and Jaipur and Hanumangarh.
