The athletes from MLSU flagged off their success in the Inter-University Athletics competition that held from 16^th to 20^th January in Mangalore, Karnataka.

In the male category, Surendra Kumar received silver medal in the Decathlon Competition and Bhawna Jaat received bronze medal in the 5 km walk competition.

Sports In charge Dr. Deependra Singh Chauhan further informed that the athletes have been able to achieve success at the National level after 15 years.  In 2001, in the Inter-University National Athletics Competition, MLSU student Ajay Singh Chauhan had won silver medal in the 200 meter Decathlon race.
