Mohan Lal Sukhadia University (MLSU) has expressed the desire to host All India Inter University Kayaking and Canoeing competitions. The proposal for the same has been sent to Indian Universities Association, New Delhi by MLSU Sports Board.

In the forthcoming meetings of association, an annual sports calendar will be finalised. The sports calendar will have details of all sports activities for the year. MLSU is hopeful of getting the opportunity of hosting kayaking and canoeing competitions. If the proposal is accepted by Indian Universities Association, then a country wide competition of kayaking and canoeing will be held in Fatehsagar Lake by the end of 2018.

Sports In charge Dr. Deependra Singh Chouhan informed that MLSU has performed quite well in All India Inter University Kayaking and Canoeing competitions in the last 2 years and has won medals as well.
