In West Zone Inter University Badminton Competition held at Bhopal, MLSU team emerged as first runner up in the league match.

Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal hosted the West Zone Inter University Badminton (male) competition from 6th November 2014 till 10th November. In the first session, MLSU team defeated Amravati University, Maharashtra by 3-0.

However, moving forward in the finale match, the team got defeated by Pune University, Pune by 3-1 and secured the second position in the inter-university competition.

Dr. Dipendra Singh Chauhan, Sports Board In charge, MLSU informed that last year, MLSU had secured second position in the West Zone Inter University Badminton (male) Competition hosted by Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.

Team manager Dr. Surendra Singh Chauhan and Dr. Hemant Pandya received the trophy with the team members.
