In the West Zone Volley Ball Tournament being hosted by the North Gujarat University, Palanpur at Gujarat, the representative team from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University Udaipur beat SRT University Nanded, Maharashtra to enter the 3^rd round of the tournament.

Earlier in this tournament, MLSU defeated Nagpur University in the 1^st round beating them in 3 games out of 5; while in the 2^nd round they took over SRT University in an extraordinary game and won 3 straight games in the best of 5 matches. The 3^rd round will be played on 30^th Nov, where MLSU will meet the winner of the match between Ujjain and Pune.

According to D.S Chouhan, team players Arif, Prashant, Vinod, Tarun, Harish and Jayesh gave their best performance in this tournament, which is a reason behind the team’s proceedings in the game. Kishan Singh, former Volley Ball player is providing professional guidance as the Coach to the team.
