Women’s team from MLSU Udaipur, reached the quarterfinals of All India Basket Ball Championship, organized at Kalinga University, Orissa, after beating Kolkata University, in an interesting match played under last night.

In the All India Basketball tournament being played in Orissa, women squadron of MLSU have made into the quarterfinals after beating Kolkata with a huge margin of 22 points; the match concluded last night, with a final score card indicating 51 for MLSU and 29 points to Kolkata University.

According to D. S. Chouhan, Secretary, Sports Board of MLSU, the team will clash with Punjab University in quarterfinals; the match is scheduled to be played on Monday evening.

Top players of the team in last night’s match were Shilpi Gehlot, Priyanka Rao and Madhu Sharma with a contribution of 21 Points, 12 points and 8 points, respectively.
