Mahaveer Premier League (MPL-2011) a cricket tournament organized by the student’s wing of a social group, Mahaveer Yuva Manch today witnessed aggressive semi-finals between 4 teams on the fourth day of the tournament.

In the two different matches played today, Vardhman Vinay Club reached the finals after defeating Mahaveer Yuva Manch (Senior) and Decent Club smashed team Premier Eleven. Both the finalists will prove their strength tomorrow (18 Nov.) at Field Club, Udaipur.

Panil Pokharna, Coordinator of the tournament said, “Vardhman Vinay Club has shown a great match today, bowler Yogesh Jain took 3 wickets and was honored as the Man of the Match.”

The second semi final between Premier Eleven and Decent Club started today at around 2 in the afternoon. Premier Eleven scored 109 runs in 15 overs after losing 8 wickets. Chasing the target, Decent Club played superbly; the opening batsmen Nitish Jain (42) and Vaibhav Jain (52) easily helped their team to reach the finals and the target was achieved in 9.5 overs.

Vaibhav received Man of the Match for his undefeated innings.
