For the first time, Udaipur will play host to the National Paralympic swimming competitions. This will be the second time in history that the competition will be held in Rajasthan.

For the first time, Udaipur will play host to the National Paralympic swimming competitions. This will be the second time in history that the competition will be held in Rajasthan.

17th National Paralympic swimming competition will be held at Maharana Pratap Khel Gaon swimming pool from 5-Nov to 7-Nov. Over 500 para swimmers from all over the country will participate in this competition.

President of the organising committee, Prashant Agarwal, informed that the inauguration of the National Paralympic swimming competition will be held at 11am on 5-Nov. Central Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Central Minister Rao Inderjit Singh, State Sports Minister Gajendra Khinwsar and State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria will be present at the inauguration ceremony.

The competition is being organised jointly by Para Sports Association Rajasthan, Narayan Seva Santhan and Maharana Pratap Khelgaon Society. Swimming coach Mahesh Paliwal said that the competition will see participation of 275 male and 125 female swimmers from 26 states of the country.
