New Track Premier League Starts in Style
New Track Premier League (NTPL), a cricket championship organised by New Track Offset Printers at Field Club, commenced today. With 31 matches to be played, around 16 teams are participating in this T-20 league.

On the first day of the tournament, two matches were played.
The first match was played between Krishna Colour Scanners and Appa Naveen Chandra Company, while the second one was played between GBH American and Vishveshvariya; Appa Naveen Chandra and Vishveshvariya won their respective matches.
According to Dr. Prashant Agrawal, Organiser, NTPL, in the first match Rajesh Duggal, captain of Krishna Colour won the toss and elected to bat first and the team managed to put a total of 74 runs in 18.5 over. Chasing the total, Naveen Chandra won the match with a loss of 3 wickets. Kuldeep Baresa of Naveen Chandra was given Man of the Match award for taking 3 wickets.
In the second match, Vishveshvariya was bowled out at a total of 88 runs. Chasing the total GBH American team faced deadly attack of Vishveshvariya’s bowlers and was bowled out at a score of 63 only. From team Vishveshvariya, Chetan Nagda and Ashwin took 3 wickets each while captain Amish Paliwal settled with 2 to register a comprehensive win of 25 runs.
In the series of matches scheduled for tomorrow Maa Gayatri Hospital will play againet Bhawishya Credit at 8 am, and Rockwoods School will compete Shree Nath Jewellers at 11 am.
