Bracing for the upcoming association election, Udaipur District Cricket Association (UDCA) today opened the process for filing of nominations for various posts. The elections are scheduled for 17^th September 2013.

Elections will be conducted for the posts of President, Deputy President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and Executive Members.

In the last session, Lakshaya Raj Singh Mewar was elected unopposed for the post of President since Association did not received any other nomination for this post. However, for this session, as per sources, Lakshya Raj Singh has refused to continue on the post.

According to Manoj Tiwari, Member, UDCA, no nominations were received today, the first day of filing. He also informed that the last date for filing nomination is 14^thSeptember.

Manoj added that as per the electoral schedule, elections would be conducted on 17^th September for completing the process.
