11^th Vice Chancellor Chal Vejyanti Sports Tournament of MPUAT’s non teaching staff started today at Rajasthan College of Agriculture. 300 athletes and players from 11 teams of different departments are participating in the tournament.

Teams from Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota-Jhalwar and Vallabhnagar are also participating in the tournament.

Various sports including Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Kabbadi, Table Tennis, Badminton and Athletics will be conducted during the tournament.

The inauguration was done by the chief guest Professor Jabbar Singh Solanki, vice chancellor Agriculture College, Kota University. Prof Solanki did flag hoisting and received the parade ceremony.

In his short address, Prof. Solanki said that sportsmen should play with mutual coordination and respect. He praised the spirit of aged sportsmen participating in the tournament.

MLA Phool Singh Meena was also present on the occasion with other BJP leaders and faculties of MPUAT affiliated colleges.

On the first day, matches of football, basketball, Kabbadi and Volleyball were played.
