Over 500 Policemen to Participate in Inter-District Sports Tournament
The 8-day Inter-District Police Line Range Sports Tournament started today at Police Line ground of Udaipur. The competition will see the participation of teams from 7 districts in various sports and athletics activities.

The 8-day Inter-District Police Line Range Sports Tournament started today at Police Line ground of Udaipur. The competition will see the participation of teams from 7 districts in various sports and athletics activities.
508 Police personnel from Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand and Police Training school Kherwada will be participating in the games, inaugurated this morning by Inspector General of Police T. C Damor by kicking off the football match between Udaipur and Dungarpur.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed all the teams participating in a parade as well as a player running with the baton, initiating the tournament.
A.D.S.P Kaluram Rawat, the chief organizer of the event informed UT that, out of 508 participants, 112 are from Udaipur, 92 from Dungarpur, 75 from Banswara, 65 from Pratapgarh, 100 from Chittorgarh, 75 from Rajsamand and 9 from Kherwada Police Training Institute.
“The tournaments will be held in three different venues including Police Line, Gandhi Ground and BN College Ground,” said Hari Prasad Sharma, S.P. and the Secretary of the Games Committee.
Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Kabbadi, Athletics, Gymnastics, Weightlifting, Badminton and Hockey will be the featured events for the tournament.
