The three day 5-A-Side FUTTA Tournament concluded on Sunday evening after Pacific University Team defeated Green Marble House with 3-2 in an adventurous penalty shoot-out.

Pacific’s players Rakesh Vasita, Shankar Meena and Lalit Kalal scored 1 goal each and made their team champion of FUTTA’s Season-3.

Organized in the joint association of V The Peoples and Shalom Enterprises, the three day FUTTA Tournament was held at Shikarbadi Hotel’s ground. 16 teams from all over the country took part in this diverse style of football.

The closing ceremony was held with prize distribution and a short address by the chief guest Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar who was present on the occasion with his wife Nivritti Kumari Singh Mewar.

The organizer of the event Jinu K Samuel and SS Music’s Chairman Charles Martin presented Rs.51000 cash to the winning team.

During the tournament, match referees were Shakeel Ahmed, Mahindra Singh, Naveen Soni, Devendra Singh and Irshad Khan.

Besides promoting football among youth, the other motive of FUTTA was to raise funds for the underprivileged children through an NGO, Sohard Charitable Trust.

After another successful season, the FUTTA organizers promised to return next year with Season-4.
