The thrill and excitement of football made a comeback today with the second season of FUTTA – 5A Side Football Tournament which started at the ground of Hotel Shikarbadi. Eight teams have participated in the three day sporting event. On the first day today, 6 matches were played in the morning and evening sessions. The list of participating teams is as follows: Ralawata FC, Pacific Polytechnic, RFC Youth, Eternity, RFC Legends, Hotel Rajdarshan, RFC Stars, Udaipur Challengers. First Day Highlights In the first match of the day, Ralwata FC defeated Pacific Polytechnic by 2-0. Both the goals were scored by Surendra Singh. The second match between RFC Youth VS Eternity ended in a draw. The third match between RFC Legend and Hotel Rajdarshan also ended in a statemate with both teams scoring one goal each. Goals were scored by Anirudh Singh of RFC Legends and Kountaiy Ratnu of Hotel Rajdarshan. In the evening, the fourth match was played between RFC Stars and Udaipur Challengers in which, RFC Stars won with a handsome margin of 3-0. The goals were scored by Vikram Singh, Bhawani Singh and Jai Raj Singh. Match between Ralwata and RFC Legend ended in a draw. RFC Stars defeated RFC Youth by 1-0 with Vikram Singh scoring for RFC Stars. Jinu K Samuel, event head, informed that the opening ceremony of 5-a-Side Futta Tournament was conducted by the chief guest Rev. Dr. Paul T Mathews.
