Mukesh Kumar of MLS University secured bronze medal in the All India Inter University Power lifting Championship. Mukesh lifted total 735 kg weight in different categories.

According to Dr. D.S Chouhan of University Sports Board, Mukesh pulled 290 kg in squat, 175kg in bench press, 270 kg in dead lift under 105kg weight category. The championship was held at Anna University from 4^th-7^th March.
