Udaipur power lifters won 1 Gold and 5 Silver medals in a recently held National Federation Cup and Dead Lift Power lifting Tournament in Jamshedpur.

Vinod Sahu, Secretary of Rajasthan State Power Lifting Association informed that Sameer Khan pulled weight of 590 kg in 66kg weight category and won gold medal. Team captain Bhupendra Vyas carried 212.05 kg in dead lift and won silver medal.

In 93 kg weight category, Manohar Singh of Rajasthan Police carried 217.5 kg in dead lift while in junior category, Tarun Paliwal carried 225kg and grabbed silver medal.

In women’s section, Rajkumari Yadav won silver medal by carrying 140kg weight in 84kg category, whereas Shara Kazi got silver medal in sub junior category, she pulled 82.5kg weight.

Association’s president Hanuman Prasad Purohit, Secretary Vinod Sahu and Trainer Amit Kalyani congratulated all the winners.
