Udaipur, Mar 01, 2026: Indian shuttler, Olympian medallist and former world champion PV Sindhu is one of the passengers stranded at Dubai as a result of the chaotic situation at Dubai International Airport amidst the Iranian counterattacks.
In her tweet, she updated that there were explosions near to where she was staying with her team and coach Irwansyah Pratama. She also confirmed that she and her team are holed up and secure.
"I am safe right now, stuck here in Dubai with my team...so many disturbing videos are coming to light, and this is sadly the reality of what is happening. Dubai is a city I deeply love, a place that has always felt safe and full of life..", she says in her Tweet.

Sindhu and her team are enroute from India to compete at the All England Open Badminton Championship, which begin on March 3.
