Second day of National Level Kayaking and Canoeing Tournament concluded today with Shruti from Rajasthan grabbing bronze medal in 500 meters C1-Junior category.

The day started at 9 AM today at Fatehsagar Lake with events of 500 meter and 1000 meters in Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior group. The National and International Coaches were present to keep an eye on all the proceedings.

The matches for 36 different group medals were played under 65 heat tournaments in the presence of S. Raghunathan, President, National Kayaking & Canoeing Assosiation and Balbeer Singh Kushwaha, Association Secratary. 200 meter finals continued till late evening.

The result sheets and award ceremony were performed simultaneously as all the events were carried with no hiatus in between.

Tomorrow, the matches will start from 9 AM with Junior, Sub-Junior 200 meters matches and the award ceremony will commence from 5 PM.

Today, Kiran Maheshwari, Virendra Vaishnav, S. Raghunathan, Balbeer Singh Kushwaha and Dilip Singh Chauhan distributed the medals to the winners.
