Rajasthan Royals Hunt for Cricket Stars of Rajasthan
With the goal of identifying and exploring new cricket talents from State, Rajasthan Royals (RR) organized a camp in Shikarbadi Udaipur. Around 200 players from Udaipur, Bhilwara, Kota, Rajsamand and nearby districts participated in the camp.
With the goal of identifying and exploring new cricket talents from State, Rajasthan Royals (RR) organized a camp in Shikarbadi Udaipur. Around 200 players from Udaipur, Bhilwara, Kota, Rajsamand and nearby districts participated in the camp.
Today, a one day camp was organized at Shikarbadi; two sessions starting from 7 am – 12 pm and 2 pm – 4 pm were played, in which more than 200 players took part. The shortlisted players will get an opportunity to receive training with the IPL squad of Royals.
According to Rajiv Khanna, Senior Manager Public Affairs and Operations of the RR team, the players have to go through a 2- stage process; this is the first stage process, where players are being selected on technical grounds after formal net tests.
The 2nd Stage will be conducted at Jaipur from 25th November in Sawai Mansingh Stadium, thereafter winners will be announced and prized with a life time opportunity to serve internship with RR team, where they would be part of practice sessions and get exclusive mentorship from RR coaches.
“The hunt is carried out over two districts across Rajasthan, one among them is Udaipur and other one will be held at Jodhpur. All due instruction have been posted on official website of Team RR”, said Rajeev Khanna.
