Shyamlal Khinchi of Pali won the Best Lifter of India, as Rajasthan managed to secure second place in the 18^th National Senior Bench Press Tournament organized under the auspices of Madhya Pradesh Strength Lifting Association and held at Jabalpur. This is the third consecutive year that lifters from Rajasthan have secured second place at the National Level.

Chandresh Soni, General Secretary of Rajasthan Strength Lifting Association said that Khinchi won the Best Lifter Award in the Masters category after lifting a total of 695 kg in the 100 KG Weight Category. The other members who performed extraordinarily for Rajasthan are Narpat Singh, Harshit Bapna, Karanpuri Goswami and Guddu Singh.

The Chairman, Pramod Samar; Joint Secretary Udaipur, Kamlesh Sharma and Technical Advisor Amritlal Kalyani of the Rajasthan Strength Lifting Association congratulated the team and have announced that the felicitation ceremony for the participants will be organized at Udaipur in the coming month.
