A 21 member’s team representing Rajasthan in 18th National Senior and Masters (Women and Men) Strength Lifting Competition announced yesterday by Rajasthan Strength Lifting Association, Udaipur.
7 out of 21 athletes are from Udaipur including one woman competitor, the team is led by Chandresh Soni, chief referee from Rajasthan and team manager with Anil Paneri Trainer. The state team captain is Ashwini Khandelwal of Jaipur while Lalit Gotia is vice captain of team Rajasthan.
Shekhar Sharma, Divyansh Soni, Chen Singh, Sumit Paneri, Narpat Singh and Govind Prajapat (All in senior category) are from Udaipur team with Indira Bhandari the only woman participant.
Other participants are Pavan Kumavat, Gajendra Soni, Neelesh Sharma (Jaipur), Paramjeet Singh, Neeraj Cheeta, Lalit Gotia (Kota), Vikram Ril (Pali).
In Master’s category: Ghanshyam Kumawat (Jaipur),Mangu Singh, Viram Gurjar, Kishore Kumar (Pali),Karan Puri Goswami (Bhilwara).
Women’s category: Indira Bhandari (Udaipur), Salma and Praveena (Pali)
