Rajasthan Wins Silver in ASMITA Women’s Rugby League
Rajasthan women’s rugby teams secured silver and bronze medals at the West Zone ASMITA League held in Ajmer
Udaipur, Dec 16, 2025 - Under the Khelo India ASMITA Women’s Rugby League being conducted across India under the aegis of the Government of India, Sports Authority of India, and the Indian Rugby Union, Rajasthan teams won medals in the Senior, Junior and Sub-Junior categories.
Udaipur Rugby Association Secretary Vijendra Kuldeep informed that in the ASMITA Women’s League organised by the Rajasthan Rugby Football Association, all Rajasthan teams secured medals. The West Zone competition of the ASMITA Women’s Rugby League was held on December 13-14, 2025, at Patel Stadium, Ajmer.
In this tournament, the Rajasthan Senior Team won the bronze , while the Junior Team and Sub-Junior Team won silver medals.
On this occasion, officials of the Rajasthan Rugby Association including president Pandit Suresh Mishra, Secretary Kuldeep Singh Rajawat, Joint Secretary Ravindra Singh and Treasurer Jitesh Kumar congratulated the entire team. Congratulatory messages were also extendd from the Udaipur Rugby Association, vice-presidents Dr Hemraj Chaudhary and Dr Bhim Raj Patel, Treasurer Vardhman Singh Naruka, Anuraj Singh, Deepak Joshi, and Gagan Patel as well as Association president Dr Dipendra Singh Chauhan.
