78 players will participate in the District Level Open Rapid Chess Tournament tomorrow on Sunday. After a two day break, the participants are all ready to showcase their wits in the remaining rounds and in the closing ceremony to be held at Shramjeevi College.

Organized by Chess in Lakecity, the tournament is said to be a very encouraging platform for budding Chess players.

Vikas Sahu, organizing secretary has said that leading players in the senior category will try their best to keep hold the position and grab the title. The 5^th round of the tournament will be played at 8:30am and the prize distribution ceremony will be at 1:00pm.

Tournament is categories Under 7,9,11,13,15,17 and 19 years of age including senior category.

Total 78 chess players including Govind Chandel vs Ravindra Pal Singh, Chandrajee Singh vs Atul Hinger, Richin Jain vs Harshit Sharma, Arihant Bhandari vs Sudhakar, Devendra Borana vs Bhavesh Sahu, Nikhil Yadav vs Dhruv Dak, Gokul Pillai vs Harshit Chandalia, Chayan Dureja vs Pallav Choudhary, Yugansh Shukla vs Jai Choudhary, Kartik Harchandani vs Monika Sahu, Manthan Chittora vs Vibhav Pamecha, etc. will clash for the best performance.
