RCB Cricketer Yash Dayal Faces Charge of Sexual Abuse
Victim claims evidence of abuse, infidelity and false promises; if convicted cricketer could face up to 10 years in jail

July 8, 2025 - A woman from Ghaziabad has made serious allegations against Uttar Pradesh and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fast bowler Yash Dayal. These are not simple charges. The woman has accused him of emotional cheating, mental harassment, sexual abuse and making a false promise of marriage. An FIR has been filed at the Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad based on her complaint.
The woman said she was in a relationship with Yash for five years. Yash introduced her to his family, and they treated her like a daughter-in-law. She trusted Yash and his family. But now she feels it was all a lie.
In the police report, she said, "He hurt me emotionally, mentally, and physically. He lived with me like a husband. He promised to marry me, and I trusted him."
Later, when she asked him the truth, he beat her and troubled her more.
The woman has also alleged that Yash had relationships with other women. She claimed of having proof like messages, screenshots and video call recordings. She said this proof is strong and will help the police in their work.
On June 14, the woman called the helpline number 181. But the local police did not help her. After that, she sent her complaint to the Chief Minister’s Office for help.
The police have filed the case under Section 69 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). This section is for sexual abuse and lying about marriage. If Yash is found guilty, he can get up to 10 years in jail.
