The 57^th State Level Secondary/Senior Secondary Inter-School Gymnastic Sports Competition concluded today.

The event, which started on September 12  at Fatah Senior Secondary School had the Nagaur team winning both the age groups (17/19) in Girls category and the teams from Ajmer and Jodhpur winning the 17 and 19 years age groups competitions, respectively, in the Boys category.

According to Dr. Ramesh Indauliya, Organizer and Member of the Decision Committee for the event, “In Under- 17 Boys category the Ajmer team took the honors by scoring 143.75 points, while the Udaipur team managed second spot after scoring 96.45 points.  In the Under-19 Boys category, Jodhpur scored 210.65 securing them the first place while Bikaner and Ajmer with 152.75 and 143.65 points took second and third place respectively”.

In the Girls category, Nagore scored 88.85 and 142.70 points in Girls’ Under-17 and Under-19 age groups respectively.

Balancing Beam, Vaulting Table, Floor Exercising, Parallel Bar, Pommel Horse, Roman Rings were some of the events in which gymnasts displayed their finesse.

Dr. Ramesh Indaulia said that the selection of the best Gymnast in the competition started towards the evening session on Friday.  The best performing 24 boys and 18 girls are competing for the title of All-round Best Gymnast.
