His father had been sick for a long time. Recently, his condition became worse. Doctors tried their best to treat him, but he died due to stage 4 liver cancer, which is a serious and advanced form of the disease.
In the last days, his condition was very critical. He was on a mechanical ventilator and receiving continuous renal replacement therapy. Doctors were trying hard to keep him stable, but his health kept getting worse.
The news came when Rinku was away with the Indian team for the T20 World Cup. Before the match against Zimbabwe at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, he left the team and went home after knowing about his father’s serious health condition.
Khanchand Singh had been fighting liver cancer for some time, but his health suddenly became worse and he was admitted to the hospital in Greater Noida.

Rinku Singh Misses Playing XI Amid Family Tragedy
