May 26, 2025 - Shaheen Shah Afridi held the trophy high as his teammates cheered around him. It was a proud and unforgettable moment for Lahore Qalandars, the champions of the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL). But the victory wasn’t just about the trophy — there was prize money too.

Not only did the champion team receive a big reward, but the runner-up team also got a trophy and prize money for reaching the final.

Apart from this, many other awards were given — like Best Player of the Tournament, Best Player of the Final, Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Best Fielder. These players received cash prizes during the award ceremony held at the end of the 10th season of PSL yesterday, May 25.

The Rishad-Shakib-Miraz XI beat Quetta Gladiators by 6 wickets in the final and took home Rs 140 million (about Bangladeshi Taka ৳60.5 million or US $500,000). The runners-up, Quetta Gladiators, received US $200,000 (around ₨60 million or Bangladeshi Taka ৳20.4 million).

Hasan Nawaz was named Player of the Tournament after scoring 399 runs for Quetta. He earned Rs 3 million plus a BYD Seal electric car. He also picked up Rs 3.5 million as the tournament’s Best Batsman.

In the final chase of 201, Lahore’s Kushal Perera smashed an unbeaten 62 off 31 balls and was named Player of the Final, earning Rs 0.5 million.
