R.K Dhabhai Elected New President of Wrestling Association
R. K Dhabhai of Udaipur has been elected unanimously as (an unopposed) the new president of Rajasthan Wrestling Association in the presence of Mangilal Garasia, Minister of Sports, State, Arjun awardee, Premnath, Treasurer of Indian Wresting Association and former Olympian and Arun Shukla, Election Official.

The Presidents of 23 districts of Rajasthan including Mangilal Garasia, Minister of Sports, City Legislator Gulabchand Kataria, Devkinandan Gurjar from Rajsamand and Jagdish Raj Shrimali were present on the election of executive committee of Rajasthan Wrestling Association.
R. K Dhabhai of Udaipur has been elected unanimously as (an unopposed) the new president of Rajasthan Wrestling Association in the presence of Mangilal Garasia, Minister of Sports, State, Arjun awardee, Premnath, Treasurer of Indian Wresting Association and former Olympian and Arun Shukla, Election Official.
According to the election bulletin, in the new executive committee Mangilal Garasia will be the Chairman, Gulabchand Kataria will be the Chief Patron, Devkinandan Gurjar and Lalsingh Jhala will be patrons, R.K Dhabhai (Udaipur) will be the President, Dalpat Surana, I.K Dutta (Kota), Senior Vice presidents are Dhurmal Sharma (Sawai Madhopur), Nirbhay Singh (Bharatpur), Nanu Singh (Sikar), Kishanlal Deshma (Tonk), Kanta Singh (Ganganagar), Dr. B. L Daima (Jodhpur), Jassaram (Nagaur) and RC Purohit (Pali).
Chief Secretary: Shiv Lal Grewal (Jaipur), Treasurer Dalpat Singh Arya ( Jhalor), Union Secretary: Manoj Vyas (Jaisalmer), Bhupendra Singh (Barmer), Ummed Singh (Jhujhnu) Leeladhar Paliwal (Rajsamand), Technical Chairman: Ravindra Kumar (Kota), Executive members: Kanhyalal Malav (Bara), Pannalal Choudhary (Bundi), Hardev Arya (Sirohi), Gaurav Purohit (Jaisalmer) Jagan Punia (Bikaner) Technical Advisor: Satyaprakash (Bharatpur), Vedprakash, Kailash Paliwal and Omprakash Sen ( Udaipur).
Premnath, the Treasurer of the association said, “Sports should be played with the sportsman spirit and we also require sports quota as Haryana and Delhi have.”
After appointment as the Chairman of the Association, Garasia has said that he will work to expand the game of wrestling and assist the athletes for whatever help he can provide.
Gulabchand Kataria has announced Rs.5 Lakh for the wrestling surfaces and said, “We don’t have lack of talent in our country, we just need to explore them and that we all have to do together.”
The newly elected president R.K Dhabhai said, “We will try to increase the standard of wrestling in Rajasthan and I assure you to make the work plan for it very soon.”
