The long awaited Adventure Sports will soon start at MLSU, as the University will be announcing regular practice and training sessions of Wall Climbing, commonly known as Rock Climbing, from the first week of November.

According to the sources, the wall and its construction concluded in the July and was to be inaugurated on 29^th August; however, considering the technical and safety aspects, the kick-off was postponed till the detailed survey of the wall, which was carried out and inaugurated officially on 8^th October.

Though, the sport of rock climbing is not confined to MLSU students, priority will be given to MLSU students at a nominal registration fees, second priority will be given to the affiliated colleges of MLSU and lastly to the other interested candidates.

“As soon as the fencing work around the Wall gets over, regular sessions will commence after official registration. The same is expected to happen sometime around 8^th November”, said D. S. Chouhan, Secretary, MLSU Sports Board.
