Udaipur will be hosting Ranji Trophy matches from 9 -12^th November for the second year consecutively. Ranji Trophy is one of the oldest of the first class cricket played in India in which national teams of the respective states participate.

This year, in the scheduled match of group A to be played between Mumbai and Rajasthan, Sachin Tendulkar, who has been going through a rough patch in his cricketing career, is expected to be in the field with Zaheer Khan from the Mumbai team.

It’s less than a month left before the match to be played but the venue is still not decided. Initially, it was to be played at MB College’s ‘A’ ground, but later was changed to Field Club, under the pressure of protest carried out by the Student Union last month.
