Heated Reactions on the Field

According to the laws of cricket, the ball is not dead until the players clearly stop the play. Because Agha touched the ball while standing outside the crease, he was considered run out.

The decision created a heated reaction on the field. Agha argued with Miraz and Liton Das, while Rizwan stepped in to calm the situation. After checking the replay, third umpire Tanvir Ahmed gave Agha out.

Frustrated with the decision, Agha threw his helmet and gloves on the ground before walking back to the pavilion.

The moment changed the match. Before the incident, Pakistan were in a strong position at 231 for 3 after 38.3 overs. But after Agha’s dismissal, the team quickly lost four wickets in the next 23 balls, which helped Bangladesh take control of the match and possibly the series.
