After scoring 97 against the West Indies, he hit another half-century in the semi-final match against the England national cricket team. The opener reached fifty in just 26 balls.

Another big half-century for Sanju Samson

Samson reached his half-century in just 26 balls. He used the pitch conditions well. This was his second straight half-century in the tournament. He also built a good partnership with Ishan Kishan, who batted at number three.
