On the third day of ‘Sashastra Bahu Cricket Cup-2012’ organized by Kalal Sports Club at MB College ground A, Udaipur; 3 teams that stood winners in league matches played during the day were, Purbia Diamond, Mewada Veterans and Mewada Gold.

Three league matches of 20 over each were played today in the ‘Sashastra Bahu Cricket Cup-2012’. The first match was played between Purbia Diamond team and Mewada Dimaond team, while in second league Suhalka Veterans dealt with Mewada Veterans and in the third and last league match of the day, Purbia Gold team played against Mewada Gold.

According to Rajiv Suhalka, President of Suhalka Community, in the first league match, Mewada Diamond batting first, scored 122 runs with the blazing innings of Pradeep Choudhary who scored 44 runs in just 34 balls; defending the total Purbia Diamond achieved the target on loss of 8 wickets and won match with 3 wickets.

In the second match, Mewada Veterans batting first scored 119 runs with a helpful knock of 56 runs from Suresh Choudhary, while the defending Suhalka Veterans managed to put on board only 106 runs in 20 over match; resulting in a win for Mewada Veterans.

In the third and final league match of the day, Purbia Gold batted first and gave a target of 65 runs to Mewada Gold; chasing the target Mewada Gold won the match and achieved the total score in just 10.4 overs with loss of 2 wickets.
