Udaipur, October 25, 2024 - Rajasthan Police has won the Senior Men's Football Championship which was held on October 23 at the Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur. The team defeated Hanumangarh in the finals.

According to Dilip Singh Shekhawat, secretary of the Rajasthan Football Association, Hanumangarh took an early lead when Tausif scored a brilliant goal in the ninth minute. However, Amit Godara equalised for Rajasthan Police with a goal in the 36th minute. By halftime, both teams were tied at 1-1.

When the match resumed, neither team could score and the result had to be decided by a penalty shootout in which Rajasthan Police emerged victorious with a score of 5-4.

In the first semi-final match played earlier, Hanumangarh defeated Jaisalmer 5-0 and in the second semi-final, Rajasthan Police won against Sri Ganganagar also 5-0. Jaisalmer won 2-1 to secure third place in the third-place playoff match against Sri Ganganagar.
