Smriti Mandhana Smashes to Second-Fastest Century, Shatters Harmanpreet’s Record

Udaipur, Sept 19, 2025: Indian women's cricket team opener Smriti Mandhana scored a record-breaking century in the second ODI against Australia. She won everyone's heart with her century, just before the Women's ODI World Cup 2025. In the second ODI at Mullanpur Cricket Stadium, Smriti completed her century in 77 balls. This was the 12th century of her ODI career. With this century, she set many records. It was the second-fastest century in ODIs by an Indian woman player. Earlier, she had scored the fastest century in terms of balls in ODIs for India, achieving it in 70 balls against Ireland in 2025.

Mandhana’s Century

Smriti Mandhana scored the second fastest century for India women in ODIs. She made 100 runs in 77 balls in the second ODI against Australia. Earlier in 2025, she scored the fastest century for India women in ODIs. She made that century in 70 balls against Ireland. Smriti is the first Asian woman to do this. She now has 12 centuries in ODIs. No other woman player in India or Asia has so many centuries.
