Batting first, Pakistan scored 269 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs. In reply, South Africa chased down the target in 40.1 overs, losing only 2 wickets, thanks to Quinton de Kock’s unbeaten 123 runs. De Kock had scored 63 runs in the first ODI. With this century, he achieved a remarkable milestone in his comeback match.

Babar and Rizwan Fail to Deliver

However, Babar Azam (11) and Mohammad Rizwan (4) failed to score big. For South Africa, Nadre Burger took four wickets, while Peter picked three.
